iPhone Key Information

As Wikipedia says: “The iPhone is a mobile device produced by Apple. The first generation, known as the 2G, was introduced by Steve Jobs in 2007. Until 2013, a new model was launched each year—including the 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, and 5. In 2013, the launch format changed with the simultaneous introduction of the iPhone 5S and 5C (the latter featuring a plastic casing). In subsequent years, iPhones were presented in two size variants—4.7 inches and 5.5 inches (the larger variant being marked with a “+”). Since 2014, Apple has released three generations of iPhones: the 6 and 6+, the 6S and 6S+, and the 7 and 7+, along with a secondary model introduced in March 2016 called the iPhone SE (essentially a 5S updated with most components from the 6S).

Up to the iPhone 5, the device was available in only two colors: black and white. With the launch of the 5S, Gold was added to the lineup while black was replaced by Space Gray. The iPhone 6S introduced Rose Gold as an option. For the iPhone 7, Space Gray was swapped for matte black, and a new Jet Black variant was also offered. Starting with the iPhone 5, the device has supported LTE connectivity. Activation and usage require a nano-SIM card. The iPhone 5 also introduced the Lightning connector and came with EarPods headphones. Additionally, the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max introduced a new color option called ‘Midnight Green.’…”
